Here's a track inspired by one of our first Tabletop RPG campaigns. The lyrics follow a group of adventurers delving into a crypt where a necromancer who is going blind is resurrecting the dead and extracting their eyes in an attempt to find a working pair to replace his own.

A rasping howl rends the night
Screams of bloodshed and death, wide eyed
Dwarven hands shake in fright
Spinning tales from the crypt, undead

Down below exhumed from rot
Necromancy and gore, vile
Scripts and runes, a wizard's plot
Singing the song of the dead, into the grave

Hacking through trees, the forests of yore
Humming to life brims a magical stone door
Opening wide, beckons within
Gazing through the abyss, pulling you down

Now the time has come
Demons from the Earth to his will they succumb
He will take control
Tearing their eyes and denying their souls
Flesh will meet the blade
Heroes from above delving into the grave
Brought to his demise
Necromancy in the Crypt of a Thousand Eyes

Ray of Frost chilling bone
Burning Hands melt them down, chaos
Poisoned blades take control
Maiming throats of the dead, venom

Dripping down the dreadful blade
A heater smashing the skulls, shielding
Cracking blows, the bloodied face
Rotting hands tear them down, crafting demise

Axes and swords taking their toll
Bodies convulse in their terrible death throes
Pustules of blood splattering gore
Festering tendrils of death, latching your soul

Arcane scrolls, incanting to control
Vials lay scattered oozing liquid through the stone
Summoning spells, a dead syndicate
Caskets blast open to the chants imminent

Bloodstained walls, bodies fill the halls
Ichor bubbling in the cauldrons all around
Circles are drawn, candles are lit
Corpses hit the ground in the merciless pit
